Meet our intelligent leaders who represent our 2014-2015 Chapter!

Brena Davis
Wisconsin Vice President of
Finance

"This is my third year in FCCLA. I am currently the Vice President of Finance on the WI FCCLA State Executive Council. I have competed in Chapter Showcase Display and focused on children. My partner, Kaitlin Lubinsky, and I qualified for nationals and received Gold both years. FCCLA is a huge part of my life, and it is something I am very passionate about. I strongly encourage students to join because it is a great way to get involved at your school, give back to your community, and prepare for your future! Plus who doesn't love to travel around the U.S., meet new people, and compete with an outstanding project?"

Kaitlin Lubinsky

President

"Hello, I am currently a senior in high school and serve as our chapters President this year. Prior to this year, I served as Vice President and placed gold in all my competitions."

Ashley Taylor

Vice President

"Hello everyone, I'm Ashley Taylor and I am the Vice President of Holmen FCCLA this year. I'm a senior at HHS and this is my 3rd year in FCCLA. I have previously competed in Chapter Service Project Display, National Programs in Action, and am now competing in Chapter Service Project Portfolio. My favorite memory would be competing at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee over the summer with my friends and Mrs. Halverson! I would highly recommend joining FCCLA for any students looking for a way to tie in their creative passions - design, cooking, community service, or anything else - with a student organization that can contribute to a resume in more ways than one!"

Marlee Pronschinske

Vice President of Public Relations

"FCCLA- I have been in it for only two years, last year Ashley and I did the mock crash for the entire student and staff body of HHS. We made it all the way up to state with that. This year Ashley and I raised money to send veterans on their honor flight along with a veteran day dinner at the Holmen legion. We raised money through backpack day and asking local businesses to donate.  We raised enough to send two veterans on their honor flight which is $500.00 each"

Kensey Schmidt

Vice President of Community Service

"Hello, this is my second year being apart of FCCLA. Last year I completed solo in Chapter Service Project Display and advanced all the way to nationals where I placed silver. Since joining FCCLA, I have gained the communication and leadership skills needed to be as successful as possible. I look forward to competition for the rest of my high school career!"

Mikala Wuensch

Vice President of Star Events

"Hey readers, this is my third year serving as an FCCLA member. I have mostly done projects through some form of fashion. I look forward to competing this year."

Danne Holzer

Business Advisor

“Hello, my name is Danne Holzer. This is my second year participating in the FCCLA program. I am Holmen FCCLA 's current President of Finance. This program has taught me so much and has made such an incredible impact on my life. FCCLA will teach someone how to give back to their community, become a leader, and find out how they could make an impact at such a young age. This program is about action and making an impact using the skills they would learn while taking a family and consumer science class. FCCLA has so many categories to pick from and those who participate would agree that FCCLA  is for everyone. Take action and join are FCCLA  family!”
